Today, I so badly wanted to get out of the house. I just had this ache in my bones to do something. It didn't have to cost any money or be to crazy exciting, I just wanted to do SOMETHING. We ended up at a beach, with the desire to picnic on the sand. But, it was cold and windy, so we opted to eat our lunch in the car then take a stroll on the beach. It was so much fun. Canaan absolutely loved being outside, and picked up every piece of driftwood he could find. I think the fresh air did us all good.
We also took the back roads home. Ever since Michael and I were dating we've always loved going for drives. Seeing new scenery and finding new places to visit. All in all it was a good day, and I go to bed with a smile on my face :) Hope you all found a way to enjoy your families and your Saturday!
